Fees and Policies

Rates are based on the number of classes taken. For example, if your child is taking two one-hour classes, you pay the two hour rate or if you have two children each taking a one-hour class, you pay the two hour rate.

• Fees are calculated by a total number of hours per week of classes taken by the family.
• Extra classes for privates, examinations, costumes and competition are not included in this schedule.
• Partial/full funding is available. Call or email the coordinator for more information.

2019-2020 Fee Schedule for Children's Classes

Hourly rate for fees is rounded to the next closest hour and apply to families who have more than one child taking classes in the school and/or dancers taking more than one class.

Recital Costumes

Each class, except for adult and children's term clsses (yoga dance and Mighty Mini Creative dance), will require a costume for the dance recital in May. We try to keep costuming costs low, on average $50/person/class. Costumes are typically arranged and purchased in January, and are non-refundable.

2019-2020 Fee Schedule for Adult Classes (10 weeks)

 Reduced fees for USask students. Must show a valid student card at the time of registration.

For those students only taking one class:

• May register online at beactive.usask.ca or call or visit PAC 222 (306)966-1001
• Full payment with Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, debit card, cheque, or cash at the time of registration.
• Two cheques of equal payment will be accepted. The first one dated at the time of registration and the other for November 1, 2019. 
• Make cheques payable to: University of Saskatchewan.

For those students who take more than one class or those parents who have more than one child enrolled in the school of dance:

• Must register over the phone or visit PAC 222 (306)966-1001
• Full payment at the time of registration with Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, debit card, cheque, or cash at the time of registration. 
• Two cheques of equal payment will be accepted. The first one dated at the time of registration and the other for November 1, 2019. 
• Six cheques of equal payment will be accepted. The first cheque dated at the time of registration and the others should be dated September 30, October 31, November 30, December 31, 2019, and January 31, 2020. 
• Make cheques payable to: University of Saskatchewan.

Payment Plans

Payment plans are available for families enrolling in multiple classes. Payment plans by post-dated cheques only. NSF CHARGES APPLY. Please contact the office for more information.

NSF Policy

Cheques returned due to non-sufficient funds will be charged a $25.00 NSF fee. Payment or arrangement of payment must be made within 14 days or the student(s) will not be considered registered and may be asked to withdraw from the program. Cheques will not be accepted from customers with an outstanding balance or who have previously had cheques returned.

Please allow at least 4 weeks for cheques to clear.

There is a $20.00 administration fee for withdrawals/cancellations. Prior to the first class, those who withdraw will receive a refund less the administration fee. Refunds will be pro-rated  for withdrawals and cancellations up to November 30, 2019. There will be no refunds after December 1, 2019.

Classes with insufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation.
