USask Rec is excited to launch the newly renovated, K.W. Nasser Courts at the Education Building.

Thanks to a generous donation by K.W. Nasser to the University of Saskatchewan, our courts have been refurbished.

The K.W. Nasser Courts can now be used for tennis, pickleball, futsal, basketball, and fitness.

Please be respectful of the rules for the courts.

All patrons using the courts MUST hold a valid USask Rec Membership.

Booking a Court
Tennis and Pickleball courts are reserved based on hourly time slots.
All Sports and Basketball times slots are drop-in.

Who can use the space?

Valid student, faculty/staff, or membership cards are required every time you use the facility.  For open times, names and contact information may be required. Please be prepared to provide membership/student card to use facility.

You must be 18+ years of age or a current USask Student to be eligible for a membership and to utilize the space.

Can I rent the space?
At this time, private and public bookings are not available. There may be opportunities in the future to rent this space.

What can be played?

The K. W. Nasser Courts can be used for tennis, futsal, pickleball, basketball, fitness (unless approved by Facility Managers office)

Absolutely no skateboarding, rollerblading, biking, road hockey, or external lessons/instructions.

Rules

Proper attire to be worn at all times.

  • Clean athletic footwear, no sandals or barefeet.
  • Shirts must be worn at all times

FAQ

Why do I have to pay to use your courts now? (I have used them for years without paying) 

USask Rec has made significant investments into the refurbishment of the courts, including a donation from a supporter, and there are now additional costs include staffing and upkeep.

What are the additional benefits of having a membership?

Members have access to the Full Benefit Membership which includes: access to the Fit Centre and Fitness Loft, 30+ fitness classes a week, climbing wall, squash/racquetball courts, table tennis, PAC and Education pool lane and open swim, open rec, indoor walk/run track, equipment and locker rentals.

Can I use the courts if I am not a member? 

Yes, by paying a $10 drop in fee. We only accept debit or credit cards, no cash.

What if I am late to my court reservation?

If you are more then 10 minutes late and there are people waiting, your reservation will be given up. If there is no one waiting, and you show up within your reserved hour, you will be permitted to play for the remaining time. 

Do I have to bring my own equipment? What is available for rent and for purchase?

Rental racquets and equipment are available to members. Pickleball and tennis balls are available for purchase.

Can I use the courts outside the reservable hours?

The courts are not to be used outside of the reservable hours on our website. If you are looking for group bookings or rentals, contact the PAC 222 General Office (306-966-1001).

Can I play pickleball during tennis time and vice versa?

If there are no courts reserved and our staff are available to assemble/disassemble nets, then yes, otherwise it will be up to the discretion of the on-site staff member.

How do I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel reservations using the same system or phone into the PAC 222 General Office at 306-966-1001.

Do I need an account to reserve a court?

You must have an active membership or punch pass to sign up for an account. Otherwise, you can try to drop in or call the PAC General Office at 306-966-1001 to book.

How can I purchase a day pass, punch card, and membership?

These items can be purchased at the PAC customer service desk, the PAC 222 General Office, the Education customer service desk or on site at the K. W. Nasser Courts. We only accept debit and credit cards.
