The Recreation Fee is automatically assessed and included in Student Fees for full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students in most programs at the University of Saskatchewan. As a result, having the Recreation Fee assessed provides a wide range of activities and recreation opportunities for students. These include:

  • The opportunity to participate in all Intramural and Special Events sponsored by Campus Recreation
  • Access to the following:
    • Swimming in the Education and PAC pools at designated times
    • Skating at Merlis Belsher Place at designated times
    • The Education Squash Court and four Racquetball/Squash Courts in the PAC
    • Six outdoor tennis courts near the Education building.
    • PAC Triple Gym and Education Gym during open recreation times
    • Sporting equipment to sign-out
    • 13,500 sq. ft. PAC Fit Centre:  
      • Over 100 pieces of cardio equipment (steppers, treadmills, elliptical machines, bikes)
      • Cardio theatre, free weights, close to 90 weight machines
      • Over 30 fitness classes per week, ranging from spin to yoga and step to boot camps
    • 210m walk/jog track in PAC
    • 40 ft, 6 route PAC climbing wall.  (Equipment and instruction provided)
  • Reduced student memberships to Campus Rec Clubs
  • Discounted fee for Learn-To activities
  • Locker for rent (daily or yearly) at both the PAC and Education facilities
