The Recreation Fee is automatically assessed and included in Student Fees for full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students in most programs at the University of Saskatchewan. As a result, having the Recreation Fee assessed provides a wide range of activities and recreation opportunities for students. These include:
- The opportunity to participate in all Intramural and Special Events sponsored by Campus Recreation
- Access to the following:
- Swimming in the Education and PAC pools at designated times
- Skating at Merlis Belsher Place at designated times
- The Education Squash Court and four Racquetball/Squash Courts in the PAC
- Six outdoor tennis courts near the Education building.
- PAC Triple Gym and Education Gym during open recreation times
- Sporting equipment to sign-out
- 13,500 sq. ft. PAC Fit Centre:
- Over 100 pieces of cardio equipment (steppers, treadmills, elliptical machines, bikes)
- Cardio theatre, free weights, close to 90 weight machines
- Over 30 fitness classes per week, ranging from spin to yoga and step to boot camps
- 210m walk/jog track in PAC
- 40 ft, 6 route PAC climbing wall. (Equipment and instruction provided)
- Reduced student memberships to Campus Rec Clubs
- Discounted fee for Learn-To activities
- Locker for rent (daily or yearly) at both the PAC and Education facilities
