The Fit Centre and fitness classes are open to on and off campus community members.
 

Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday
6:30am - 10:30pm

Saturday - Sunday
8:00am - 9:00pm

We will be closed on all STAT Holidays.

Protocols

Beginning July 4, 2022 and continuing until August 29, 2022, the university will pause the mandatory mask mandate and move to a mask-friendly environment.

Memberships

All students who have been assessed the student recreation fee are able to use the Fit Centre and Campus Recreation programming.

Membership fees will be assessed accordingly for all other members.

Facility Amenities 

All amenities are now open.

Sanitization

Increasing the frequency of cleaning and sanitization, especially high touch areas such as equipment, door handles, waterbottle fill stations, etc.

Patrons will clean equipment after each use.

Hand sanitizing stations will be located at the entrance of the PAC and throughout the Fit Centre for patrons use.

Group Fitness
Classes

All group fitness classes will be held in PAC 101 and the Fit Studio.

Group fitness class sizes will be limited - see class registrations online for availability and more details. You can secure your spot up to 2-3 days in advance.

Capacity

The Fit Centre is no longer limiting capacity and you do not need to book a time.

Q: Who can access the Fit Centre?

A: The Fit Centre is open to everyone. Membership fees will be assessed accordingly.

Q: I am not a student, how much is a membership and how can I purchase one?

A: Membership sales are open to everyone! Come to PAC 222 on the second floor to purchase yours today.

Q: Do I need to reserve a time to work out?

A: No, members no longer need to reserve a time to work out.

Q: Do I need to reserve a spot for fitness classes?

A: Yes, you can do this online by logging into your USask Rec account to secure a spot, up to 3 days in advance. Group fitness class sizes will be limited - see class registrations for availability.

Q: Do I need to wear a face mask?

Q: Will the locker rooms, showers, and towel service be available?

A: Yes, our changeroom facilities are now open including access to lockers. Towel service will no longer be a service offered.

Q: Where can I park?

A: Paid parking is located in front of the PAC in Lot 3 and there a few meter parking stalls available. Paid parking is also available at the Stadium Parkade.

 

Our state of the art fitness facility operates out of the College of Kinesiology Physical Activity Complex (PAC) and houses 80+ pieces of cardio equipment, a fit studio, free weights, weight machines and a 40 ft climbing wall. We provide an opportunity for you to improve and maintain your health by creating a fun, friendly, and invigorating atmosphere.
